This is an extract from an Introspective hypnosis session that a client has kindly allowed me to share. Personal details kept confidential.
This lady came for a session as she felt she had blockages in her life and wanted help to overcome them. Now our subconscious helps us (find) whatever blocks we have, be it shown in a memory or as a metaphor,and this is done effectively in hypnosis as the ego(critical mind) becomes quiet,we are shown where we need help and are shown solutions. In our day to day lives we mainly run in our ego mind kept busy with very often no time for contemplation….it is in these quiet times we get answers to our problems if we only slowed down and listened….we do have the answers to everything innately inside all of us, we simply need to let go of the ego.
So she was shown with her minds eye(imagination) a beautiful spot in nature to immerse herself in…she was next to a beautiful lake on a mountain top.She felt it was in Canada. Not long after she was shown an Eagle and morphed into an eagle and was shown by the others how to fly…at first she found it peculiar but before long trusted herself and enjoyed the freedom of flight and seeing things from a wider and higher perspective, she was shown many aspects of life as an eagle which was stunning. Just imagine how much we can learn from nature when we tap into this part of our mind and naturally morph into these different creatures and surroundings …I believe the possibilities are truly endless.
She then returned to camp for the night saying goodbye to the eagle who will be keeping an eye on her!. She was shown spectacular stars in the night sky with many shooting stars. She then saw a big white light slightly to the distance on a rock and could see a triangular black UFO quietly landing on the rock, she explained she was not scared but curious. She went onto explain that their skin was a blotchy grey, felt like a dolphins skin with blue eyes ,short,with 3 of them in total. She felt an overwhelming feeling of love from them not fear. When conversing with them they stated they came from the Orion star system, and stated she just needs to believe and she will be able continue seeing them, not to have fears and drop the beliefs she has been given. She was then taken into the ship and shown around and stated there was lots of high tech there! There was a high beam of light in the middle that was described as a portal which helps them travel to other planets. They stated then to her as a reminder that we are them and they are us and that everything is connected. She was told that she has had an existence with these souls and could feel it. They then pointed out an energy block my client has in her abdomen. They stated to her the importance of opening her heart and mind and connecting to the universe….this was recommended to us all. Her soul self stepped in here and gave her advice on diet and overall health well being. We then investigated this heaviness she feels in her abdomen and my client was immediately taken to a time in the classroom as a child with a teacher being impatient with her ….it was in this memory that she felt ashamed, stupid and tearful and forgiveness was initiated. She also had another memory as a child where she was shown when her mum put a nappy on her as a 3 year old as she kept forgetting to stop and go to the toilet playing outside constantly and felt so embarrassed as that child in that time .This is blockage has now been recognised and healed in all its aspects. This is how effective hypnotherapy is in that we are there as practitioners to help and be there with the client when they are shown memories that are blocked that need resolving. She was then shown a block in her throat that has been there also since childhood when her opinion was not recognised ,and this has happened not only during this life time but others and is deep rooted within her culture. Again this was worked on in more detail. I then asked her soul self how do we help children as parents to make them feel valued , the importance of giving a child choice was stated as important, to be patient with them and value their input….sometimes very often they know more than us adults. She was then told of other synchronicities that she sees in her life and how she had planned for this life prior to this incarnation, the lessons she has put in front of her and is overcoming. She was reminded to trust the process that she has planned for this life….the lessons she has put out for herself to learn from. Life is one big learning curve. Another beautiful session with many issues resolved and so much information given xxx.
